With your help, New Jersey can meet its common-sense clean energy goals.
The 2019 Draft Energy Master Plan (EMP) released by the Murphy Administration earlier this year provides an initial blueprint for total conversion of New Jersey’s energy sources to 100% clean energy by 2050. In preparation for the final Energy Master Plan, slated to release by the end of the year, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, in collaboration with Rocky Mountain Institute, released a plan that models future energy scenarios and identifies the most strategic and least-cost ways to achieve New Jersey’s clean energy goals.
The Integrated Energy Plan (IEP) plan specifies a combination of clean energy resources and technologies — such as solar, wind and storage — that meet the state’s emission-reduction goals by 2050.

A summary of findings were presented during a webinar on November 1, which you can view here.
As New Jersey residents continue to demand a clean energy future, this plan demonstrates how it can be done at very low cost to consumers and while maintaining a reliable grid.
