Gov. Murphy Announces $100M Investments in Clean Transportation Projects

Gov. Murphy today announced several new initiatives to advance clean transportation, create green jobs and coordinate action on climate change across government agencies.

“Gov. Murphy took critically important steps to strengthen the state’s commitment to addressing the climate crisis and ensuring that New Jersey will capitalize on the tremendous opportunities to create family-sustaining jobs in clean energy and green industries that will improve our health and help the economy recover,” said Tom Gilbert, campaign director, New Jersey Conservation Foundation and ReThink Energy NJ. “By creating a new Office of Climate Action and Council on the Green Economy he is making it clear that New Jersey will lead the way to a prosperous clean energy future.”
