Take Action to STOP PennEast!

Stop the PennEast pipelineOn September 23 PennEast announced 33 changes to its pipeline route and many new HDD drilling sites without any supporting data or justifications. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) sent PennEast a list of 46 inaccurate, incomplete, or missing items that the company must provide. FERC also postponed the release date again for PennEast’s Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) to April 7, 2017.

PennEast’s FEIS should not move forward until these data gaps are addressed. If this project is “not needed” as the NJ Rate Counsel argues, FERC must deny it.

You can submit letters to FERC opposing this dangerous, unneeded pipeline and its faulty application.

Visit the FERC eComment webpage to submit your comment directly (be sure to reference Docket #CP15-558).

Comments made to FERC become part of the legal record, and FERC must respond to each comment. Our goal is to submit as many comments as possible.

Stop the PennEast Pipeline

In your letter, you should mention specific problems about PennEast, and try to raise a variety of  points. Include details and unique stories about how your family, your community, and your property/business would be impacted by the pipeline.
