What is PennEast?

The PennEast Pipeline Company, LLC, is a partnership that includes (NJ companies are bolded):

• NJR Pipeline Company, an affiliate of New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG);
• SJI Midstream LLC, an affiliate of South Jersey Gas;
• AGL Resources, parent company of Elizabethtown Gas; 
• UGI Energy Services; and
• Enbridge (formerly Spectra Energy).

The PennEast pipeline would bring “fracked” natural gas from Marcellus Shale wells in Pennsylvania across the Delaware River through portions of Hunterdon and Mercer counties in New Jersey, threatening the health and safety of our communities, private land owners and significant natural and historic resources.
