Supreme Court PennEast pipeline

“It is not surprising that the Solicitor General for the Trump Administration is siding with an unneeded fossil fuel project. We urge the Murphy Administration to continue their strong defense of New Jersey’s rights and preserved lands against PennEast,” said Tom Gilbert, campaign director, New Jersey Conservation Foundation and ReThink Energy NJ.

“The Solicitor General’s submission failed to give the Court any reason that it should take up PennEast’s case. It’s submission ranged from asserting an entirely circular and tenuous jurisdictional argument to claiming that the sky is falling, without being able to cite a single case supporting either argument,” said Jennifer Danis, Senior Fellow, Sabin Center for Climate Change Law.
