Taking Private Property

The private companies that make up PennEast expect to obtain the power of “eminent domain” from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to take private lands and public properties to construct this unneeded pipeline. Private companies should not be granted the power to take private and public land when the public need or benefit has not been clearly and absolutely demonstrated.
