Energy Expert Report Invalidates Alleged Need for PennEast

  • Expert gas analysts at Skipping Stone find PennEast is not needed to meet current or projected demand for natural gas, and that currently pipeline capacity far exceeds even peak winter demand.
  • If a gap between peak winter demand and pipeline capacity ever developed, it could easily be met through utilizing existing pipeline capacity and LNG (liquid natural gas) facilities.
